An Antique ivory letter opener, made with genuine pre-ban elephant ivory. This simple and elegant letter opener is a solid piece of elephant ivory. The letter opener measures 5 1/8 inches long and 17mm wide. There is a intricate carved rabbit for the pommel and the entire length of the letter opener has a rose scrimshaw design. Also it has been inscribed with a nude scene of a couple. The letter opener weighs 13.9 grams.
