This beautiful long ivory strand necklace is very impressive, taken out of my personal collection. There are a total of thirteen large 16mm round ivory beads that alternate with finer 6mm round ivory beads and a squarish buffalo horn and ivory inlay bead. The elephant ivory inlays are in a round pattern. The buffalo horn produces a very good contrast to the large ivory beads and the entire nacklace measures 25.5 inches long. The cross graining found only in elephant ivory is present throughout the entire necklace.
