A beautiful necklace of genuine elephant tusk ivory. The focal part of the necklace are the beautifully carved buffalo horn beads and the four strands of elephant ivory beads connecting them. The buffalo horn beads are 16.5mm or 5/8 long and 34mm or 11mm or 3/8 inches wide. The beads in the middle gradually increase from 3mm to 7mm then decease back to 3mm beads. The criss-cross growth patterns are not very noticeable on the beads. The necklace beads are 6mm wide and gradually increase to a large 12mm bead. The full length of the necklace is 20 inches and the total necklace weight is a solid 30.2 grams. The ivory necklace is a warm patina finish, with a creamy off-white color.
