The ivory rose is connected by fine 2.5 mm round ivory beads, which then comes together at a 10mm rose-carved ivory bead. The necklace measures 16.5 inches long around the neck with an additional 2.25 inches of added length due to the ivory rose and the rose-carved 10mm ivory bead. The cross hatchings are visible on the thickness of the piece and throughout the ivory beads. The ivory necklace is a warm patina finish and the necklace weighs 20.4 grams. The hand-carved ivory clasp is fully functional.
