This beautiful long ivory strand necklace is very impressive, taken out of my personal collection!! There are a total of 70 grooved ivory beads at 8mm each and the total necklace length comes to 29.5 inches. In between each grooved ivory bead are round 3mm ivory beads. The focal point here is an 1 1/8 inch horse clasp , which is beautifully carved so the facial features are all clearly visible. The cross graining found only in elephant ivory is sporadically visible. The necklace weighs 29.2 grams.
