This beautiful elephant ivory necklace is very impressive, taken out of my personal collection. The beautifully carved rose is the centerpiece of this necklace, it measures 49.5mm or almost 2 inches wide!. The rose is was carefully hand carved to appear as a flowering rose, with the Cross-graining decorating the petals. This necklace is strung with round Ivory beads increasing in size from 8mm to a large 12mm in the middle of the strand, than back down again. There is a hand carved fully functional Ivory twist clasp to secure the necklace. It has a total length of 20 inches. The ivory necklace has a warm patina finish and weighs 51.9 grams.
