This is a personal artifact that I am pleased to present for sale. A gorgeous hand carved ivory statue standing 8.5 inches tall and 2.75 inches wide was carved from a single piece of magnificent ivory. The Asian man is holding a bird cage and in the other hand some bird feed. The cross graining found in elephant ivory is very visible on throughout the piece. The wood stand adds an additional 2.5 inches to this gorgeous ivory collectible. The weight of the ivory statue is 417.5 grams of solid ivory.

All of our ivory was imported before the trade ban of 1989. This gives our ivory the classification of "pre-ban ivory". The wooden base is included. This is the only one in my possession and cannot be restocked, a true collectors item.
