A fabulous ivory netsuke ox extricately carved with great detail. The netsuke stands 1 3/8 inches tall and weighs a solid 19.5 grams. This carving has been signed by the artist on the bottom. The ivory displays a warm patina and cross hatched grain is fairly visible. All of our ivory was imported before the trade ban of 1989. This gives our ivory the classification of "pre-ban ivory" .
