Emerald Jewelry
Emerald tends to have numerous inclusions and surface breaking fissures. All of our emeralds are purchased from miners in Columbia. Unlike diamond where the loupe standard under 10X magnification is used to grade clarity, emerald is graded by eye. Thus, if an emerald has no visible inclusions to the eye (assuming 20-20 vision) it is considered flawless. These flawless emeralds with the dark green hue command the highest prices.
